Individual, virtual therapy
I use a variety of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused, Trauma Informed, Mindfulness, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Motivational Interviewing.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a natural response to stress, characterized by feelings of worry, fear, or apprehension about situations or events. It can manifest physically through symptoms like increased heart rate, sweating, or restlessness. While some level of anxiety is normal, excessive anxiety can interfere with daily life and may require professional support. Understanding anxiety is the first step towards managing it effectively.
Depression
Depression is more than feeling sad; it can affect your energy, sleep, motivation, and ability to enjoy life. Many people describe it as feeling heavy, stuck, or disconnected. It can show up in different ways, such as difficulty concentrating, changes in appetite, withdrawing from others, or a loss of interest in things that once brought joy. With support, depression is treatable, and therapy can help you find new ways to cope, heal, and reconnect with yourself and others.
Grief/Loss, Infertility, and Pregnancy Loss
Grief is a natural response to loss or disappointment, and it can feel overwhelming and unpredictable. It may show up as sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or even physical exhaustion. Everyone grieves in their own way and in their own time. There is no “right” way to experience it. Therapy provides a compassionate space to honor your loss, make sense of the waves of emotion, and begin to find your footing as you adjust to life after loss.
Pregnancy and Postpartum
Pregnancy and the postpartum period bring big changes—physically, emotionally, and socially. Along with joy, many people experience mood and anxiety struggles during this time, such as persistent sadness, worry, irritability, or feeling disconnected from their baby or themselves. These experiences are not a sign of weakness. With support, healing is possible, and therapy can help you feel more grounded, connected, and supported through this season of life.
Chronic Pain and Illness
Living with ongoing pain or illness affects more than just the physical body—it can take a toll on mood, energy, relationships, and sense of self. Feelings of sadness, frustration, anxiety, or isolation are common when daily life is shaped by health challenges. Therapy offers a space to process these emotions, build coping strategies, and find ways to live with greater balance, resilience, and hope, even while managing chronic symptoms.
Trauma
Trauma can come from many experiences—such as abuse, loss, accidents, medical events, or other overwhelming situations. Its impact may linger in the form of anxiety, nightmares, difficulty trusting, or feeling constantly on edge. You might also notice a sense of numbness or disconnection from yourself or others. Healing from trauma is possible, and therapy provides a safe space to process your experiences, rebuild a sense of safety, and move toward feeling whole again.
